Nnmadi kalu declares Bayelsa as a Biafran state

Nnamdi Kanu
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has declared that Bayelsa is not a south-south state but part of the south-east.

This means that if eventually Biafra finally comes into existence, Bayelsa would be part of the new country, according to Kanu’s explanation.

Vanguard reports that the chief agitator made this claim when he welcomed some supporters from Bayelsa adding that an Igbo man is more related to a man from the state rather than one from Maiduguri.

We learnt that Kanu was joined by his father to welcome the Biafran supporters from Bayelsa. He expressed hope that Nigeria will return to its pre-colonial days soon.
