SAD!! Accident Claims 10 Lives In Ile-Ife

A ghastly motor accident on Sunday claimed ten lives in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

DAILY POST reports that the accident, involved an 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus, with registration number MUS 703XZ travelling along the Ife-Ibadan road, and a petrol tanker, with registration number YNF 328XA, coming from Ore, in Ondo State.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO) in Osun State, SP Folashade Odoro, the petrol tanker collided with the bus as it was making a U-turn.

She said this resulted in firing which killed 6 females and 4 males.

Odoro added that the corpses have been deposited at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife morgue, while the two surviving persons were currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
