Trump fans thrilled by ‘disgusting’ Madonna’s move to Portugal

Right-wingers are crowing that Madonna has moved to Portugal, delighted that the woman Donald Trump called “disgusting” had left America.


Madonna said on Instagram: “The energy of Portugal is so inspiring. I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!! It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point.”

Canadian network CBC added: “Madonna, 59, is adapting Andrew Sean Greer’s novel ‘The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells,’ which explores time travel and changing attitudes toward sexuality, into the movie Loved.

It was in January that President Trump, angered over the pop star’s comments at the Women’s March on Washington, told Sean Hannity: “Honestly, she’s disgusting. I think she hurt herself very badly. I think she hurt that whole cause.”

But Madonna didn’t mention Trump in her moving post:
